Obama Then and Obama Now!
Then…Remember the hell-raising coming from the left, when Dick Cheney was meeting with “big Oil” executives at the White House? They wanted to know who was attending these meetings and wanted a list of names. The claims of “they were making energy policies” were pretty much true.
Obama stated many times about how he would bring “hope and change” to Washington. No more politics as usual he proclaimed. Another proclamation was how his administration would be the most transparent administration in history…Think again! (http://www.barackobama.com/issues/ethics/index_campaign.php)
Now…Obama and his administration are playing the same game. They rejected a request for the list of health-care industry executives who have meet secretly with Obama and members of his administration. The watchdog group, Citizens for Ethics and Responsibility in Washington, made the request after it received a letter from the Secret Service. The letter cited an Obama Justice Department directive and denied access to visitor logs under “presidential communications privilege.” (http://www.barackobama.com/issues/ethics/index_campaign.php)
Each passing day, Obama continues to act just like former President Bush. Where is the outrage now? Where are those screams from the left now?
Another example of politics as usual. Hope and change are now just catch-words to get elected. However, Obama is very transparent. Most can see right through him, his words and his actions.

Well, my friend, I’m from the left and I’m getting more pissed off with each passing day. This health care reform plan is a glaring example. Though I find the present system to be deeply flawed; that is not to say that we blindly accept Obama’s plan. You are dead on when you state that this administration is beginning to resemble the Bush regime more and more. As far as I’m concerned; this bill should have the benefit of an open debate on the floors of Congress for as long as it takes. Concessions may need to be made but isn’t that what the new administration promised. Personally; I sincerely hope that some form of reform is passed but not without input from all.
I agree. If the government wants to regulate the insurance companies and health care providers…I’m all for that. Its when government gets involved in selling health care insurance that scares the sh*t outta me.
Hey no Scotty we agree, look out! Yes Obama is acting MUCH like Bush. And you will hear me decry his selling out to insurance companies, bankers auto execs and his foreign policy. And I don’t know anyone who would say I was anywhere but on the LEFT. So hey yes some of the left is on Obama just they way we were on Bush. But thats the “real” left not the Democratic hacks.
