Breaking News: Charlie Rangel Suffers from Tax Amnesia
We all have heard about the Chairman of the Ways and Means Committee tax problems. Charlie Rangel is the lead man on writing tax legislation that us commoners are required to pay. Its just a shame that the man who write these laws seems to believe that he is above the very laws he writes.
According to the Wall Street Journal, Rangel (D-NY) had to “amended” his 2007 financial disclosure form. It seems Charlie Rangel “forgot” to report more that a half-million dollars. Since his memory seems to be slipping, I believe Charlie Rangel needs to step down.
The WSJ also points out the facts that Rangel “lost track” of several checking accounts. One account was a federal credit union account with a balance of somewhere between $250,001 and maybe as high as $500,000. Then there is the other investment accounts with JP Morgan, Merrill Lynch, Oppenheimer and BlackRock that Mr. Rangel “forgot” to include in his financial disclosure form.
This is just the tip of the iceberg for this tax-cheat. These charges only add to the real estate fraud he has committed and more taxes he has “forgotten” to claim or pay for. Maybe Rangel has tax amnesia?
This crook has got to go. If you are like me, you are probably sick and tired of hearing about these crooked politicians who hold the belief that they are some how above the law. This jackass even had the nerve to say the reason he failed to report $75,000 in income from a rental villa was because he “doesn’t speak Spanish.”
It seems to be a common flaw with these crooked politicians. We have a tax-cheat running the Treasury so I guess it should not be to hard to believe that the man responsible for writing tax laws is also a tax-cheat. Birds of a feather!
Check out what the NY Postreported on the Charlie “tax-cheat” Rangel.
