Senate Votes to Deny Funds to ACORN

Published by scottystarnes at 10:05 pm under Political Articles Edit This

wakeupamericasign.jpgThe news just keeps getting better and better on this subject. Days after a few undercover videos exposed ACORN for the rotten, criminal organization it is, the Associated Press reports that the Senate has voted to deny housing and community grants funding to the group. The vote was 83 to 7. I hope they release the names of those 7 who voted no.

The Senate vote will block Housing and Urban Development from giving taxpayer-funded grants to ACORN. Now their support for under aged child prostitution, tax evasion and brothels will be shut down. Finally, something is getting done.

On top of all this bad media, from Fox News only, the Census Bureau cut all ties (this will have to be watched closely) and does not want ACORN’s help with the decennial count. There has been an uproar since it came out that ACORN would be “helping” with the census. ACORN members love to submit fake voter registration cards with such clever names…like Mickey Mouse and Paul Newman. In no way would they ever go to such lengths to put fake information into a census count?

Who was it that said we should judge him by those he surrounds himself with? I believe it is the same man who use to be legal counsel for ACORN and paid them over $800,000 to register voters. That would be OBAMA.

One Response to “Senate Votes to Deny Funds to ACORN”

Just like everything else we stand by and let happen in this country, and when something goes wrong, we think one man is to blame. We never speak up, we just trust that all is good and let it happen. If we were all moral and just in everything we do, we wouldn’t have to point fingers when something goes wrong, we would know who did it before it goes wrong. We are to blame.
