An Apology is Owed!

Published by scottystarnes at 6:10 pm under Political Articles Edit This

apologytour.jpgWhen is an apology owed? Usually it is when you make a mistake or say something rude to a person in the heat of the moment. Sometimes an apology is owed when you call someone a liar and inform them that they are “misleading and confusing” senior citizen about losing Medicare benefits.

This is where we find ourselves today. The Obama administration, through Health and Human Services, sent a “warning” letter to Humana Inc. expressing their concerns about a mailer informing seniors that they will lose benefits under the current Baucus health care plan. Basically the administration tried to muzzle a private corporation and informed them that dissent would not be tolerated.

Obama has continued to lie with his claims that Medicare will not be affected by these cuts he has proposed. Then today, the Congressional Budget Office contradicts this claim. Just so you know, this is not the first time the CBO has put the smack down on Obama’s health care misleading and confusing claims.

So, Humana Inc. was correct to inform senior citizens that under this health care plan they would lose benefits. They are not the ones who have been misleading and confusing the taxpayers. Obama and his administration has done a fine job at spreading lies and misleading everyone…well except those who are still drinking the koolaid.

I believe an apology is owed. One should be extended to Humana Inc. The other should be to the American taxpayer for all the lies this administration has attempted to sell us. I’m calling out Obama on this issue.

Will an apology be issued? The answer is no. Obama can only apologize when he is in a foreign country and needs to appease those that follow the Islamic faith.
