What’s the Rush?
Here we go again. First we get to hear the ever-so-wise old owl, and noted flip-flopper, John Kerry, inform the taxpayers that there is no reason elected officials should read bills they have to vote on. “This is fundamentally a delay tactic,” Kerry said. Then we have the Jackass Party (hey, their party symbol is a jackass) block a Republican amendment to wait 72 hours and require a full cost estimate, by the Congressional Budget Office, before the final vote on the Baucus health care reform bill.
Why are these Jackasses so scared to read the bill and why the rush?
Candidate Obama said he would put all bills online for 72 hours and the debates would be broadcast on C-SPAN. You lie! Nancy Pelosi promised that she would allow a 48-hour waiting period prior to bringing health care legislation up for a vote. Another You lie moment.
And these are the same Jackasses who doubt the anger coming from the taxpayers are real. How dare these taxpayers, who elected these Jackasses, demand that all bills should be read before being voted on? The sad fact is that most of these Jackasses, like John Kerry, will continue to be elected again and again.
Is your refusal to read the bills a sign that the liberal education system has failed once again? Is your rush to pass these unread bill a sign that you are scared of the American taxpayers finding out the real goal behind them? Most of us who did not fall for the hope-n-change myth already know the answer.
Its about power, government control, spreading the wealth and social justice. It started with the stimulus bill, which you refused to read. So far it has only stimulated Walls Street and the Unions. Up next was the Cap and Trade bill which you, again, refused to read. Who will it benefit? Unions and General Electric. The same groups who help elect Obama.
Now we are on to health care. Again, you attempt to rush it through without reading the entire bill. The Congressional Budget Office has contradicted every single claim and still you attempt to ran it through.
Up next is immigration reform. I can only imagine how this is going to end up. Huge 1,000 page bill that nobody has read filled with tons of earmarks to those that helped you get elected. Anyone who disagrees with the legislation will be labeled a racist. Yada…Yada..Yada.
I’m really looking forward to Obama’s education reform plan. Since the liberals took over the education system in the 1960’s, our children dropped from the rank of #1 in the world to not even cracking the top 25 today. I’m sure so-called progressives love to hear that stat.
Everyone of these bills will be rushed through at break-neck speeds and costs billions, if not trillions, of taxpayer dollars. Some of you voted for “fundamental change.” Well you are getting it.
