White House Backs Accountability of ‘No Child’ Law

Published by scottystarnes at 11:09 pm under Political Articles Edit This

nclb.jpgI know some of you Liberals will be extremely pissed when you read this…if you can read at all. The Associated Press reports that the Obama administration is committed to the testing and school accountability that is in the No Child Left Behind law. Its that program that liberals hate, except the late Teddy Kennedy, because it was passed by former President Bush and it involves children actually passing a test to show that they have mastered the grade level.

Education Secretary Arne Duncan gave the law credit for “shining a spotlight on kids who need the most help.” The report says that No Child Left Behind pushes schools to boost performance of minority and poor children, who lag behind their white peers on standardized tests.” Its no wonder why Liberals hate No Child Left Behind…its helps minorities. Don’t act surprised. Liberals have a long history of racism, being supporters of segregation and voting against the Civil Rights Act of 1964.

According to the article, the reasons Liberals think the No Child law has flaws is because its “too punitive.” More than a third of schools failed to meet yearly progress goals they proclaim. Shouldn’t they be upset with the schools instead of the law? Just asking.

Another reason is because Liberals insist the No Child’s annual reading and math tests have “squeezed subjects like music and art out of the classroom.” I believe math and reading are important core subjects, while music and art are electives. Liberals want your children to play music and be an artist. The rest of us believe our kids should know how to read books and laws while using math to pay for these artist and musicians…whom they employ!
